Brussels, 14/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - During a hearing organised by the GUE/NGL at the European Parliament in Brussels, three lawyers for the defence who began legal action in Belgian against the current Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, for his responsibility in the massacres at Sabra and Shatilla in 1982, have appealed to MEPs to participate in the fight against impunity of those responsible for war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity.
