14/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - On adopting the report of Michael John Holmes (EDD, United Kingdom) last Thursday, Parliament has effectively withdrawn cusk and ling from the list of deepwater species where the Commission was proposing to impose limits on the fishing effort (see details of the proposal in EUROPE 16 June).
