Support for additional macro-financial aid to Yugoslavia and Bosnia-HERZEGOVINA

Brussels, 14/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the two reports of the Spanish Socialist Carlos Westendorp y Cabeza on Thursday, the European Parliament has given the green light to the granting of additional macro-financial aid to Yugoslavia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. In Yugoslavia, this supplementary aid will be EUR 55 million in the form of a loan (for a period of fifteen years) and EUR 75 million in the form of a donation.
