Giscard d'Estaing likes term "United Europe"

Brussels, 07/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - In an interview with the Financial Times, the Chairman of the European Convention, Valéry Giscard d'Estaing, said he hoped that the upcoming IGC would make as few changes as possible to the plans he would be presenting to the Convention. "If the work has been sufficiently perfected, four or five meetings of prime ministers or foreign secretaries should be able to finish things off," he said.
