07/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana congratulated President Trajkovski for the unfolding of the 15 September elections, after the first meeting, on 3 October, of the new Assembly. Mr. Solana stressed in a letter that Mr. Trakovski will play "a key role in this transition period", and that "mutual trust and effective co-operation" between himself and the new Prime Minister will be essential for the effectiveness of the new executive.
