Towards harmonisation of legislation compensating passengers in case of refusal to board, delays or flight cancellations

Brussels, 18/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's transport committee has adopted the report by Giorgio Lisi (Forza Italia) on the draft regulation establishing common rules regarding compensation for airline passengers in case of refusal to board and flight cancellation or important delays. The issue is on the agenda of the Transport Council of 3 October and the European Parliament's plenary session from 21 to 24 October (co-decision, first reading).
