Green/EFA group wants six radical measures adopted to guarantee EU food safety

Brussels, 12/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - Convinced that measures taken by Member States and the Community (like the implementation of the European Food Safety Agency) up to now have "clearly not guaranteed real food safety", the Green/EFA group recommends the adoption of the following six radical measures: exclusion of all products from the recycling of waste from animal and food chains; outlaw practices that bring no nutritional benefits to consumers and which are not technically...
