The German MERCK KGAA group has bought out the French RICHELET laboratories (turnover EUR 11 million in 2001), specialists in the field of vitamins, minerals and food supplements, by way of its French subsidiary MERCK MEDICATION FAMILIALE (turnover EUR 76 million in 2001) for an undisclosed sum.
