Parliamentary delegation to visit Iran 16-21 July

Brussels, 12/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - An ad-hoc European Parliament delegation will visit Iran on 16-21 July on the invitation of the Iranian Parliament. Led by the President of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Elmar Brok (CDU Germany), the delegation will be also made up of the British Liberal Democrat, Emma Nicholson, Christian Democrat and Michael Gahler (Germany) and rapporteur for EU-Iranian relations, British Labour Party MEP, Glyn Ford and Demetrio Volcic (Democratici did Sinistra).
