The French aeronautical, spatial and automobile engineering group, SOGECLAIR (turnover of EUR 29 million in 2001 with 454 employees) has set up a joint subsidiary with its sister company MECACHROME (turnover of EUR 183 millions in 2001 with 1,500 workers), an aeronautical and automobile tool maker to win a contract of more than EUR 10 million for part of the construction of the Airbus A 380.
