Strasbourg, 08/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by British Conservative Caroline Jackson, Chair of the Environment Committee, the European Parliament last week gave its approval, in Strasbourg, to Community clearance of the Gothenburg Protocol relating to the reduction of acidification, eutrophication and tropospheric ozone (Protocol to the Convention of 1979 on long distance crossborder atmospheric pollution).
