08/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - In the context of the MPA contamination affair of pork feed, Belgium indicated on Sunday that it would be investigating an Irish company that delivered contaminated products to the Belgian Bioland company. According to Commissioner David Byrne's spokesperson, this Irish company, specialised in transporting waste and had a licence for taking it to the Belgian company for it to be incinerated. Bioland, however, does not have a licence for producing animal feed.
