In France, LAFON has acquired the family based EDV - ECLAIRAGE DES VILLES company (turnover EUR 20 million in 2001 with 180 workers). This operation, together with the recent acquisition of the coachbuilder, MERCERON, will enable LAFON to double its turnover this year to EUR 100 million (It has a staff of more than 700 ).
