ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) steel

The Anglo-Dutch steel group, CORUS, is in merger talks with Brazil's CSN - COMPANHIA SIDERURGICA NACIONAL. The deal is expected to be concluded next week according to the Financial Times, with CSN taking control of between 30% and 40% of CORUS.
