France found guilty of bad management of municipal waste incinerators

Luxembourg, 05/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Court of Justice has found France guilty of failing to adopt all the necessary and appropriate measures to ensure that all incinerators are operated in accordance with combustion conditions laid down by Council Directive 89/389/EEC on new municipal waste incineration plants and Council Directive 89/429/EEC on existing municipal incineration plants.
