Commission takes court proceedings against discrimination imposed by Germany on employment of posted workers

Brussels, 05/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has again decided to take court action against Germany because it considers German legislative provisions against workers temporarily posted in Germany by companies of other countries are discriminatory. The Court had already condemned several aspects of German legislation and is now examining two other cases. After receiving new complaints from companies, the Commission is this time tackling five different aspects.
