Brussels, 20/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Legal Committee has adopted the report by Scottish National Party MEP Neil MacCormick (Greens/EFA) proposing that it oppose the lifting of parliamentary immunity for two French MEPs, Charles Pasqua and Jean-Charles Marchiani (Union for the Europe of the Nations) who are both on trial in France for illegal arms trading to various African countries.
