22/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) adopted a new regulation on Thursday concerning the consolidated balance sheet (statistics) for the eurozone with the aim of better assessing the risks to price stability in the future. The new regulation will permit a detailed sectoral breakdown of deposits included in M3 by extending the range of statistics compiled to include data on the write-off/write-down of loans.
