16/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the Bank of France estimated that enough euro notes had been produced for the purposes of ensuring a smooth introduction of the currency across France. Some two billion euro notes were delivered to the Bank on 9 November, "a sharply higher number than the number of bank notes in circulation today" (1.45 billion) explained the Bank in a press release.
