16/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The EU Council adopted a decision extending until 15 November 2002 and amending that of 1999 on the Union's contribution to the fight against the destabilising accumulation and spread of light and small calibre weapons in Cambodia. This comes within the extension of the action programme to prevent, combat and eradicate the illegal trade in light weapons, adopted by the UN Conference in New York last July.
