Commission resumes co-operation

Brussels, 16/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - By signing the national indicative programme in favour of Burundi, the Commissioner for Development, Poul Nielson gave the go-ahead for the resumption of co-operation between the EU and the country, suspended since 1997. 65 million euro has been allocated to the programme for the next three years.
