Strasbourg, 25/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption by 338 votes for, 90 against and 44 abstentions, of a resolution by the EPP-ED, PES, ELDR and UEN Groups on the informal results of the European Council of Ghent, the European Parliament confirmed, on Thursday in Strasbourg, its position concerning the need for a global and multilateral approach in the fight against terrorism, under the aegis of the United Nations.
