France's SAINT-GOBAIN has paid an undisclosed amount for a Czech distributor of construction materials, subsidiary of the German group BAY WA. Called BAYWA REPUBLIQUE TCHEQUE, the company had a turnover of 23 million euro in 2000 and a workforce of 140.
