SWISSAIR announced the imminent sale of three subsidiaries, which are: GOURMETNOVA (airport restaurants), RESTORAMA (company catering) and RAILGOURMET (station restaurants). Karl Wuthrich, commissioner responsible for representing the interests of the creditors, said: "several candidates came forward and the best bid was selected, the price seems right and the sale will be finalised in the coming weeks". Concerning SWISSPORT (passenger and luggage registration), the commissioner said that the favoured bidder, CANDOVER, did not want to pay the price agreed following the 11 September attacks. Regarding GATEGOURMET (catering) and NUANCE (duty-free shops), "discussions are underway", Mr. Wulthrich said, without further details.
