The Swedish State has made a public bid for the forestry group ASSIDOMAN through the public holding forestry company SVEASKOG, at SEK 280 per ASSIDOMAN share in which the State has a 35% stake. The operation follows on the creation with the paper firm STORA ENSO of a new entity called BILLERUD earmarked to be quoted on the stock market this year.
