NATO notes attacks on 11 September are covered by collective defence

Brussels, 02/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - NATO formally noted on Tuesday that the attacks on 11 September are covered by its collective defence guarantee. This came after it had received "conclusive" information from the United States on Ossama bin Ladin's involvement in the attacks.
