E.ON, Germany's largest utility, has sold its 71.8% stake in MEMC, the troubled US manufacturer, to the private financial investor TEXAS PACIFIC. E.ON also announced the purchase of 34% of ESPOON SAEHKOE, the electricity provider of the Finnish city of Espoon.
