The State holding company SVEASKOG, which manages Sweden's forestry reserves, has begun talks to take over ASSIDOMAN, quoted on the stock exchange but in which it already has a 35.5% stake. It would be the first time in a long time that a State holding company will have taken control of a firm quoted on the stock exchange.
