Commission proposes in-depth reform of European pharmaceutical legislation

Brussels, 18/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - As we announced earlier (see EUROPE of 18 July, p.10), the European Commission approved the package proposed by Commissioner Erkki Liikanen for revising European pharmaceutical legislation and the procedures of the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products (EMEA). It comprises a proposal of regulation and two draft directives that will be submitted to the European Parliament and to the Council according to codecision...
