Luxembourg, 18/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - According to Eurostat, the annual inflation rate fell from 3.4% in May to 3% in June in the euro zone (2.4% in June 2000) and from 3.1% in May to 2.8% in the European Union (EU15) (2.1% in June 2000). As for the annual rate of inflation in the European Economic Area it stood at 2.8% in June.
