Brussels, 18/07/2001 (Agence Europe) - Members of the Democratici di sinistra elected to the European Parliament (who sit in the Socialist Group) have organised a seminar to be held on 19 and 20 July on the island of Ventotene, where Italian Federalist Altiero Spinelli, former MEP and European Commissioner, wrote the Ventotene Federalist Manifesto with his friend Colorni, who was under house arrest with Spinelli on order of the fascist regime.
