Irish say "no"

Brussels, 08/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - According to partial results - as only 33% of ballots had been counted at the time of going to press - the Irish have rejected the Treaty of Nice. On the basis of these results for 39 constituencies out of 41, the "no" votes account for nearly 54% of votes against hardly 46% "yes".
