Commission authorises acquisition of several Albert Abela companies by Sodexho

Brussels, 08/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Friday, the European Commission approved the planned acquisition, by the catering and leisure company Sodexho Alliance S.A., of several companies belonging to the American group Albert Abela Corp. Among the companies bought, only Sogeres, which operates in the contract foodservices sector, is present in Europe.
