In France, the mass public electronic group TMM - THOMSON MULTIMEDIA and the telecommunications equipment manufacturer ALCATEL have signed a preliminary agreement for the sale of ALCATEL's so-called "DSL" modem business (Digital Subscriber Line) to TMM.
