Resumption of WTO accession negotiations on 28 June

Brussels / Geneva, 08/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - In suspense for almost four months now and pursued by Beijing for fourteen years, China's accession negotiations to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) will resume on 28 June in Geneva. "We could be reaching the end of the road but I believe we shall need more than one session of the working group to complete talks", diplomatic sources close to the discussions said.
