08/06/2001 (Agence Europe) - According to the European Commission, the business climate indicator for the Euro zone recorded a further fall in the month of May, falling to 0.06 against 0.36 in April. With the exception of the stabilisation seen in February, the indicator has not cease to fall since the beginning of the year (it was situated at 0.98 in January, 0.98 in February and 0.58 in March), translating a deterioration in the business world's confidence.
