OECD foresees recovery of cereal trade by 2006, which will mainly benefit European Union

Brussels, 07/05/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) forecasts, in a report, (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.17), a recovery in world cereal trade by 2006 that will mainly benefit the EU (to the loss of the United States) after the historic recession recorded in the 1995-1999 period. The EU will be one of the major beneficiaries of the recovery in demand, which will be located in Asia, Latin America, North Africa and the Middle East, underlined...
