ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

The Land of Bavaria plans to sell at least part of its 5.5% stake in the second largest German energy group E.ON, it was announced by the German daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung. Furthermore, E.ON ENERGIE, a subsidiary of E.ON, has made a bid on the 54% that it does not hold in EAM - ENERGIE AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT MITTELDEUTSCHLAND, for the sum of EUR 970 million. This stake is shared out between several German municipalities including the town of Göttingen.
