Luxembourg, 25/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - According to Eurostat, in February, the euro zone recorded a deficit of 1 billion (bn) euro in its external trade with the rest of the world (against 0.3 bn in February 2000). The deficit recorded in January was 6.2 bn. For the first two months of the year, trade in the euro zone thus recorded a deficit of 7.2 bn (- 5.5 in January/February 2000).
