25/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Peruvian Fisheries Minister, Ludwig Meier and the Chilean Special negotiator, Jorge Bergeno, met, this Wednesday, the European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Protection, David Byrne, to call for the lifting of the European embargo on the fish meal exports, decreed by the EU in the framework of measures protecting against BSE.
