Lissy Gröner invites Europe to consult its young people - Henrik Söderman calls for Youth Council to play greater role

Brussels, 25/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - "Europe needs young people if it is to build a democratic future, without discrimination, racism or xenophobia. It must (…) make them take part in this construction. It is vital for the Parliament to listen to what they have to say. We invite them to put forward their ideas". Such is the message from Lissy Gröner, German Social Democrat, during the public hearing on youth policy, which was held in Brussels on 24 April (see EUROPE of 21 April, p.13)....
