Commission sends motivated opinion to Finland for failure to protect important ornithological area

Brussels, 05/04/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission decided to send a motivated opinion to Finland, because it did not take the necessary measures to protect the mires of Kemihaara, a important ornithological area located in the north east of the country.
