- Poland: The Polish Treasury and the transnational insurance firm EUREKO have reached an agreement on sharing the control of PZU with the election of a new surveillance council composed of four representatives of the Treasury and four from EUREKO. The agreement authorises EUREKO to take effective control of PZU by increasing its share of the capital to 51% during introduction on the stock exchange this year, it was announced by Treasury Minister Ms Aldona Kamela-Sowinska.
