ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) insurance

The leading French reinsurance firm SCOR is negotiating takeover of SOREMA SA and SOREMA NA, the reinsurance subsidiaries of GROUPAMA, for the sum of FF 2.4 billion. SOREMA as a whole make a turnover of around FF 3.5 billion in 1999.
