ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banking

CETELEM, subsidiary of PARIBAS specialised in consumer credit, has announced the purchase of a 70% stake in WKV, subsidiary of the German group DRESDNER BANK, for an undisclosed amount. WKV will be renamed CETELEM BANK GMBH and DRESDNER will retain a 30% stake.
