Mr Dell'Alba calls for explanations from Mr Prodi over his choice in favour of Luxembourg

Brussels, 05/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The MEP from the Lista Bonino Gianfranco Dell'Alba, in recalling that the EU Heads of State and Government will have to select, during this semester, the seat of the future European Food Safety Authority, asked President Prodi for his reasons for proposing Luxembourg, without "taking into account the characteristics (…) of the candidate cities, and in particular Parma" (see EUROPE of 2 March, p.10).
