According to the Financial Times, BRITVIC, the distributor of PEPSI in the United Kingdom, is up for grabs. Its three main shareholders, Britain's ALLIED DOMECQ (spirits), BASS (hotels) and WHITBREAD (leisure), all in the process of refocusing on their main activities, are said to be intending to pull out of the soda business and to have agreed to sell BRITANIA, their joint holding company that owns 90% of BRITVIC.
