05/03/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Commission ruled on further humanitarian aid in favour of two countries that suffered from the devastation of the Eline and Gloria Cyclones, which hit Africa last year. Thus: - Madagascar receives EUR 900,000 (mainly aimed at children suffering from malnutrition and "food for work" activities); - Zimbabwe receives EUR 500,000 (food aid and also seeds, needed following the devastation of food crops).
