Council sets out arrangements for Fifteen's support of implementation of Lusaka Agreement and peace process in former Zaire

Brussels, 02/02/2001 (Agence Europe) - In 29 January, the EU Council of ministers adopted a common position (that has been published in the Official Journal L.29) the aim of which is to support, through action on the part of the Union and Member States, implementation of the Lusaka cease fire agreement and the peace process in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
