Mrs Muscardini and Mr Pasqua announce creation of a core for a confederate Europe

Strasbourg, 17/01/2001 (Agence Europe) - The French President of the UEN (Union for a Europe of Nations) group, Charles Pasqua and Cristiana Muscardini (Alleanza Nazionale) have announced, Wednesday on the sideline of the EP session in Strasbourg, the creation of a new core aiming to "offer an alternative to those who do not want the Federal model" and prefer a "confederate model" respecting "the independence and identity of Nations".
